Colorfest’s Passport to Pagosa Food and Wine Festival was one for the books! ✨ Dixie Farms was honored to be part of such a vibrant evening filled with food, wine, and community spirit.
We brought a little taste of the South to Pagosa with our Shrimp & Corn Bisque, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Prestige Gulf Oysters on the half shell, and Maw Maw’s Apple Cake. Y’all showed up in a big way—we ran out of bisque and gumbo halfway through the event and only wish we could have fed every single guest.
One of the best parts of the night was sharing the space with so many talented neighbors:
Mee Hmong Cuisine wowed the crowd with their BaoBao Ribs and Meatball Curry, taking home Most Flavorful, Most Original, and People’s Choice. ๐

Patria captured 2nd in People’s Choice, reminding us all that food is about sharing stories and building community.
And of course, we loved connecting with the many other chefs, bakers, and culinary artists who poured their passion into the evening — each booth adding its own unique flavor and story to make the event truly unforgettable.
A special thank you to the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a meaningful event — and especially to Mary Jo Coulehan. This was her final year as Executive Director, and her dedication, vision, and hard work over the years have left a lasting mark on this community.
And to Christine Pitcher and Mark Ziegler from The Bootlegger Pagosa — thank you for stepping up last minute to help us serve and celebrate. We are honored to have you as part of the Dixie Farms family. ๐
Events like Passport remind us why we do what we do—it’s about more than just food, it’s about community, culture, and celebration. Pagosa, you truly filled our cups (and our hearts) this year.
Until next time, thank you for letting Dixie Farms be part of your story. ๐
